We’re looking for an ambitious Destination Manager to join our growing business, to contract, manage and be overall responsible for the profitable development of our touring product stream. Based at our Support Office in Manchester Trafford, this role requires a dynamic and knowledgeable product manager with proven expertise and experience in delivering successful product development within a specialist scheduled tour operator.
You’ll have responsibility for driving and developing the DMC programme for Travel Counsellors across key areas of the world including Africa, SE Asia, South America, India, USA and Europe; ensuring that our Travel Counsellors touring products meet the strategic aims and high standard of service for the business.
You’ll be responsible for all DMC partners globally owning the negotiation of commercial and product relationships, agreements and ensuring the best rates are obtained. You’ll conduct travel trends and wider market research to identify new areas of opportunity thus maximising sales to our customers.
We operate with pace at Travel Counsellors, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in an agile and fast-paced environment and understand the importance of putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, customers both internal and external.
