Working directly with our supplier partners, the Commercial Team are responsible for driving and developing our global land, air, and sea product to ensure they meet the strategic aims of the business, such as sales growth, profit maximisation, pricing, and contributions.
This includes the negotiation of commercial agreements to ensure the best rates are obtained, streamlining the product access to the community, and the planning and delivery of agreed marketing, training, and events activity.
We are looking for people with the ability to think independently, be creative, and contribute to a supportive environment wherein they can learn new skills.
These opportunities centre around 3 key areas of the Commercial team:
Product and Purchasing which entails product sourcing & contracting, relationship management, contract negotiation, business admin and being responsible for the profitable development of a specific product stream within the business.
Pricing and Data which ensures that all sales and margin opportunities are maximised through the price management of key product within Phenix (our platform) globally. This involves competitor pricing analysis and managing the margin and mark ups to ensure that we are competitive within the marketplace and in line with the business’ long term commercial strategy
Product and Platform Adoption which drives the utilisation of our internal booking platform “Phenix” and the product adoption across the business. Including the implementation of training support/plans and communicating the importance of Phenix as a booking platform and the products featured. The insight this role will gain from our Travel Counsellors will help influence future commercial / product and tech developments.
Skills & Experience Required
You must have a passion for travel, and you’ll have completed at least an undergraduate degree from a UK based University. We’re open to the background you may have as we’ll teach you everything you need to know for your role, however those with a degree gained in finance, accounting, business studies, business management etc may have a distinct advantage.
Ideally, you will have a keen interest in working in a customer service environment e.g. retail, hospitality and are motivated by working with people.

Digitally Driven – we’re continuing to evolve as a digital first business so you must be comfortable dealing with technology. We’ll teach you how to use our systems and tools but working digitally is an important part of the role that you’ll need to shine at
