An excellent opportunity has become available for a Global Head of New Franchise Recruitment to join Travel Counsellors to own our franchise recruitment strategy globally, empowering more travel entrepreneurs to realise their dreams in owning their own business as part of the Travel Counsellors brand.
Working in collaboration with, and reporting into the Global Sales Director, the Global Head of New Franchise Recruitment will be responsible for creating and implementing an end-to-end recruitment strategy that enhances the brand of our special business, leveraging the power of digital to connect, inspire and convert new high quality Travel Counsellors across the markets that we operate in.
A role model for our community and with the gravitas to influence, the Global Head of New Franchise Recruitment must have an action orientated and results driven character with the ability to motivate and inspire a range of stakeholders internally, externally and on an international basis.
Playing a pivotal role in taking Travel Counsellors to the next level through inspiring and leading our New Franchise Team and Senior Management community, the Global Head of New Franchise Recruitment will naturally share, relate to and embody the Company’s values and business model of caring, people, service and relationships, championing and embedding our ethos across all our partnerships.
Adding Value to Travel Counsellors
You’ll be the go-to person for all things franchise recruitment at Travel Counsellors at a global level, working collaboratively with strategic partners across the business to attract and recruit high quality entrepreneurs.
This is a role that combines strategy with execution so you will need to be comfortable with taking an idea from inception through to delivery, responsible for and empowering a cross-functional team which includes; Data & Insight, Marketing, Sales & Onboarding. Ultimately measured by the output of the Franchise Sales Consultants to deliver targeted growth through the quality of new entrepreneurs they bring into the business.
Skills & Experience Required

Commercial Acumen. You will have a strong commercial mindset and strategic outlook, aware of and implementing the latest digital interventions and ideas with a focus on future trends and opportunities to ensure the Travel Counsellors success story continues.
Results Driven. You will be action-oriented and results-driven and bring inspiration, credibility and commercial awareness to the business. With a strong strategic mindset, you will have the ability to think longer-term yet drive execution tactically and manage the balance between the two.

Experienced. A charismatic leader with a keen eye for detail, you will have a strong track record of working in a Data, Marketing & Sales-driven recruitment environment and already operating at a leadership/Executive level. You will be comfortable with the sophistication of attracting talent, converting leads into acquisitions, and ultimately delivering measurable quality growth into the business via new franchises. Whilst experience in Travel (and/or Franchising) is not a pre-requisite, knowledge of the industry (and/or Franchising) is advantageous.
- Successful track record of leading a cross-functional Recruitment function end-to-end; including Data & Insight, Talent attraction, Marketing, Sales, Onboarding & Employer brand.
- Experience of leading a function within an agency environment/high performance culture with clear KPI/sales focus.
- Experience of Recruitment Marketing & Sales budget management; including online & offline spend, and the associated return on investment
- Creating high-performance Sales culture; especially sourcing, mapping and converting candidates across multiple/defined routes-of-entry
- Data-driven decision maker, using internal and external information, to create a KPI mindset across various interdependent functions.
