I started my new journey at Flight Centre Cradlestone. I quickly became one of the top consultants in my area ad in 2017 I won my first National Award plus I qualified for Global. I was privileged to attend Global in Berlin. I became the only consultant in my area to reach no 10 consultants in SA and I qualified for Global again in 2018. I was privileged to attend Global in Vegas July 2019. I was the Top Customer Care Consultant and I reached the highest compliments on Hello Peter.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a single mother for the last 9 years to the most beautiful, wonderful, kindhearted little girl named Michaela. She will be 10 years old in Feb 2020. My hobbies are painting and reading and spending quality time with my family and close friends and I love to Sokkie. I love to dance with Mickey at home for fun. I am a dog lover and currently have 3 fur babies. Cuddles who is 16 years old, Max who is so cheeky and he is 1 years old and our new baby is Saydie a Pitbull who is 3 months old. He is the cutest thing ever. I lived in the UK for 4 years before Michaela was born. I've travelled to Mauritius; Berlin & Vegas and I plan to see more of our beautiful world.
What does becoming a Travel Counsellor mean for you? Becoming a Travel Counsellor means so much to me. I know that I will grow personally. I have the opportunity to become the best travel consultant in SA. It will allow me to spend more time with Mickey plus, it will allow me to give my customers the 24/7 care, attention and support. Customer experience is important to me. It's what I strive for, making my clients feel cared for is what I love. I want to be able to create the best memories that I can for my customers.
What motivated you to start your own travel business?
I have wanted to become an ITC for a while especially as I have a very large repeat client base. I want to take hold of my future and to create the best life possible for my daughter. I want to be able to give her the best education possible. I believe in providing my clients with a 24/7 service which I can now offer as a Travel Counsellor. I was unable to do this when working in retail.
What are you looking forward to most about being a Travel Counsellor? I am so looking forward to joining a new family of likeminded travel professionals, who care for their clients and who support each other. I know that my head office support team will help me to reach my full potential
