We are currently expanding at a phenomenal rate – on the back of what is our record year in terms of revenue (over £930m) - and so are looking for outstanding individuals to join our dedicated Head Office team, to help the company continue to flourish.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to help our platform modernisation and cloud migration effort, as well as assist in the support and maintenance of our existing on-premisis solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to build common capabilities and solutions to accelerate our cloud adoption and improve developer experience. You must have a strong background working with containerisation, service based design and virtualised on-premise environments, alongside experience with migration into AWS. A background in software development is desirable.

Principal Accountabilities

• To be part of a high performing team delivering scalable, resilient, customer centric systems the make up our Personal Digital Platform
• To support platform modernisation and cloud migration initiatives
• To help upskill wider engineering team in cloud concepts and DevOps practices
• To help modernise our release and deployment approach – increasing release frequency and deployment confidence

Key Requirements

• 5+ years in a similar role, demonstrating strong progression and an aptitude to learn and develop
• Strong experience of building and maintaining modern, cloud based systems
• Experience in a high paced technology development environment preferred
• Degree preferred from leading university – Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths or other numerate subjects or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in Travel not necessary
