The move to working from home has been made by over 1,800 Travel Counsellors worldwide who now benefit from a rewarding career, with complete flexibility. We asked our Travel Counsellors what they love being able to do now that they work from home.

No longer is work defined by the daily commute into the office before retreating into a room for eight hours, only emerging for a coffee break and lunch. Instead, we’re seeing a shift in mindset, one that embraces remote working and flexible hours.

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new programme tailored to industry professionals with experience in customer facing roles, but without previous experience selling travel to clients.

The ‘myTC’ app is just one of the digital tools our Travel Counsellors have at their disposal. Since its launch, the app has seen a 20% increase in the conversion rate of quotes to bookings, when compared to other digital marketing tools.

So far this year, our Travel Counsellors have packaged over 1,200 bookings directly with our DMCs through our in-house booking system Phenix, compared to 400 throughout 2016.

A quick internet search of how to market your business throws up lots of useful advice: use social media, advertise in a local paper, just do something. But why rely on the same strategies that everyone else finds with a quick Google?
