The 2022 International Women’s Day is leading with the theme #BreakTheBias. To create a “world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.”

For over 27 years Travel Counsellors have empowered women (and men) to run their own travel businesses. We have over 1,800 franchisees globally, of which 70% are women.

Becoming a Travel Counsellor means our agents have freedom and flexibility in their life. They can do the things that are important to them and reap the rewards from their efforts. We are proud that our business model supports a better work-life balance and enables them to take control in how they run their business. With uncapped earning potential, you make the decisions for what's right for you and your customers. Breaking the bias.

When asked has Travel Counsellors changed lives for the better...take a look at some of our TC stories.

“I would think it has, the more your business grows and the more years you spend establishing yourself you gain confidence every day, not only in your abilities to succeed but more importantly being able to help others to succeed simultaneously, and it’s the greatest feeling. Getting involved in networking is also important as it helps builds your skills when it comes to public speaking and breaks down the barriers of Male -v- Female in the business world. Women rock! – Mandy Walsh, Meath.

“I would like to say that Travel Counsellors offered me the courage and confidence to believe in myself to take the leap and start my own business. As daunting as this may have appeared at the beginning the support and advice has been invaluable over the last 7 years. I am honoured to be part of an amazing Global company who listens, values, and encourages every Travel Counsellor every step of the way.” – Sharon Tiernan Murphy, Meath
