We are currently expanding at a phenomenal rate – on the back of what is our record year in terms of revenue (over £930m) - and so are looking for outstanding individuals to join our dedicated Head Office team, to help the company continue to flourish.

Role Overview

The role of the Key Account Manager is to establish and nurture strong relationships with the top performing leisure TCs, to support them in nurturing their portfolio of clients, recognise opportunities for expansion in their business and work in conjunction with internal teams to fulfil their requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Manage a portfolio of the Top performing leisure TCs (c20-50 TCs)
  • Achieve assigned strategic account objectives for each of their businesses
  • Establish strong, long-term relationships with the TCs
  • Communicate with the top TCs on a regular basis and respond to specific queries
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet their business needs
  • Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner
  • Act as the liaison between the Top performing leisure TCs and internal teams
  • Identify and approach new potential strategic business opportunities with the TCs
  • Monitor the booking patterns of their customer base and mitigate risk of client attrition through proactive customer relationship management
  • Perform quarterly business reviews with the Top performing TCs
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years key account management experience ideally in a leisure travel business
  • ILM level 5 Coaching & Mentoring qualification (or similar) – ideal but not essential
  • Proven experience of 1-2-1 Coaching for SME’s, sole-traders and/or small business owners for the purpose of business improvement e.g. finding, winning & retaining customers
