Role Description
Acting as a brand ambassador, being agile and professional in your approach, you will provide industry leading support throughout our Reconciliations Function, to the wider business.
The role of Reconciliations Team Leader is to support the Head of Finance Support in managing and developing the team, driving performance, system improvements and maintaining KPI’s to ensure transactions are reconciled and authorised on a timely basis

Principle Accountabilities
- To Ensure the fast and efficient reconciliation of Virtual Credit Card statements.
- Identifying areas of development within the team, cascading expert knowledge to colleagues, upskilling and cross training peers enabling a multi skilled cross functional support teams.
- Actively seeking, documenting and implementing ways to improve process.
- Compiling and managing colleague rotas.
- Holding / contributing to team meetings.
- Ensure daily workload is managed and SLA’s are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal SME’s and external suppliers, ensuring the team is up to date with the latest processes, regulations and developments.
- Supporting the Head of Finance Support with conducting monthly 121’s and managing the performance of team members.
- Contributing to the wider business strategy to reduce, control and maintain any unreconciled Virtual Credit Card statements.
- A role model for fellow colleagues within the Reconciliation function, delivering industry leading support to both colleagues and TC’s alike.
Required skills
- GCSE Maths and English
- IT literate, able to use Microsoft Office, Excel etc.
- Confident and professional manner
- Team player and approachable
- Numerical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of managing a team
