Senior Management Accountant

About the Role

The Senior Management Accountant (Group) will support the Group Reporting Manager in the consolidation and financial reporting processes for the group. This role requires a good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

Principal Accountabilities

Financial Reporting:

  • Consolidation of the monthly Management Accounts.
  • Preparation of the Group Reporting Pack.
  • Support the Group Reporting Manager with the preparation of the annual financial statements for the group.

Consolidation:

  • Run the group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial data.
  • Run the monthly Netting Down and RPA processes.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Maintain the Compliance Calendar.
  • Support the external audit process, as and when required.

Internal Controls and Process Improvement:

  • Develop and maintain reporting suite.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Lead projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting process.
  • Identify other RPA processes, and work with the Data team to implement into the Monthly Timetable.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with finance teams across different business units and regions.
  • Support ad-hoc projects as required.

Any other duties that may reasonably be required.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant
  • High on integrity
  • Strong customer focus
