Travel Counsellors introduced a daily 2 week training programme called Back to Business. It covered just that, all the basics of business. The purpose of the training was to help our TCs to get back up to speed with all our systems, the new developments as well as to refresh their memory.
Each session covered the basics as well as including advanced elements. It didn’t matter if you had only been a Travel Counsellor for a year or 13+ years.
The topics in the training included:
- Our customer relationship management system
- Contact Centre Marketing
- Phenix System Dashboard
- Quote & book system - the basics
- Operations - putting it all together
- MyTC travel app
- Business Travel
- Social Media
Travel Counsellors were able to sign up for all the sessions or for the sessions that they felt that they needed to. Each session was an hour long and all the sessions where recorded. During the training Travel Counsellors could ask questions and get the answers there and then. For those who were not able to watch it live, the training was recorded and was uploaded onto our dedicated Training hub.
Next on the list of training is South Africa, covering all 9 Provinces.
