We offer our franchisees ongoing training to ensure their success. This month’s training covered all things Corporate.
All Travel Counsellors want to grow their business. Two of the most obvious ways to achieve this is to either; win new business and or to increase your 'share of wallet'. Travel Counsellors Corporate Travel Manager, Ian Keane travelled around the country training our Travel Counsellor franchisees. Training sessions were held in Kimberley, Bloemfontein, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town and a full day in Johannesburg.
Travel Counsellors were given practical hands on training sessions covering these topics
Prospecting: Looking at the use of LinkedIn for Lead Generation and Lead Qualification.
Key Account Management - Best practices on how to set an agenda to ensure the desired outcome were taught. Training was also given to help TCs to analyze their MI reports available.
TC's heard from an external Supply Chain Manager who highlighted the key areas that they look for from a travel provider

TC's participated in teams. Each were given a case study and they needed to complete various tasks. They needed to review the companies travel spend and to make recommendations.
Then it was time for Travel Counsellors to do a Business Health Check on their own business. Using their reports, their KPIs and their own booking stats they then answered some all-important questions. This would ultimately show them what they need to do to move their business to the next level.
