Meet Beverley: Covid-19 grounded air borders but it opened an opportunity for Bev's career to take off...

Bev's love for travel was born after her first international trip to Rio de Janeiro. A few year later the travel bug had further bitten and Bev travelled to the UK, Portugal and Spain for 9 months.

Upon returning to South Africa Bev worked at Bop Air. Later she then moved to a large corporate agency and after that to another family run travel agency. During this time Bev also worked at the airport on weekends for Comair, who then offered her a position as a full time cabin attendant. A few years later she flew for SAA on the international routes affording her the opportunity to see the world while working. Bev then followed my heart to Ireland for 6 months. When I returned home I went back to working in travel. It was here that I ended up working for a large corporate agency for 15 years as travel manager. I managed 2 in-houses and then later I worked as a homeworker. I also had the amazing opportunity to work at Match for the Soccer World Cup in South Africa.

Let's get to know Bev & what's important to her Bev was born and has lived most of her life in Johannesburg. In 2007 she adopted her daughter, Ayana Rose, who was 1 at the time and they live with her partner Robert in Paulshof. They have 4 dogs, 2 cats and a parrot - its a big family!

Bev's peaceful moments are spent; gardening, yoga, reading, and her adventurous spirit takes her travelling. She has been lucky enough to have travelled to 65 countries including Peru, Brazil, Chile, USA, most European countries, Kenya, Ethiopia, Borneo, Japan, UAE to name just a few...
