Ticket to Manchester: Announcing Our Winners!

The Ticket to Manchester competition has officially ended, and we are beyond excited to reveal the six Travel Counsellors (TCs) who have earned their spot on an all-expenses-paid trip to this year’s global conference, taking place in Manchester.

After weeks of dedication, determination, and a fired-up leaderboard, we’re proud to congratulate the following winners:

The competition, linked to key growth milestones, inspired our Travel Counsellors to go above and beyond, once again proving the drive and passion that make our community remarkable. Petro Rossouw secured her spot in the top 6 despite facing incredible personal challenges. Through it all, she ensured her customers' needs were always met—a testament to her resilience and dedication. Reflecting on her achievement, Petro shared, "I’m overjoyed! This trip means so much to me, and I can't wait to reconnect with my TC family. It truly is a blessing."

This achievement holds deep meaning for Melissa Ridley, who shared that she’s "over the moon" with excitement. She credits her success to the unwavering support of her fellow Travel Counsellors and the team at Head Office. "I feel truly blessed to be part of this incredible Travel Counsellors family," she expressed.

This friendly competition highlighted the supportive spirit of the TC community, with everyone rallying together to help their fellow Travel Counsellors climb the leaderboard. Nicci Hayden reflected, "I was focused on giving my best to each client, and when I went on leave, my incredible TC buddies stepped in and treated my clients with the same care I do! Thanks to them, I stayed on top, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be going."

For Chantal Smith, the competition was exactly the inspiration and motivation she needed. "The global conference is something I’ve always wanted to attend, so I gave it my all. I focused hard on what needed to be done and in the process, benefitted my business and grew my customer base. I’m so thankful for the opportunity and cannot wait for this experience!"

Michelle Kaye, who joined Travel Counsellors in 2022, earned her spot on the same trip in 2023 as a new starter and described the global conference as a "real eye-opener." Determined to attend again in 2024, she kept her eye on the prize. "I checked the leaderboard daily and made sure to work on my business, not just in my business—something Marc de Jager always reminds us to do. Hard work really does pay off! I’m incredibly proud of what I have achieved, and I can’t wait to board that plane to Manchester!"

The winners will be jetting off to Manchester on the 20th of November to join the 30th-anniversary global conference - a milestone event that promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Our winners with have the opportunity to connect with fellow TCs, learn from industry leaders, and celebrate three decades of Travel Counsellors' success.
