We're back from the UK TC Conference 2022

The Travel Counsellor conference is the highlight of our annual calendar and is open to any TC to attend. The excitement builds over the weeks preceding the event, but only once you attend Conference do you understand why there is so much anticipation.

The sheer scale of it is breath taking. It is not just the number of delegates that impresses you but also the lengths to which the leadership team goes to ensure that every TC has a memorable Conference experience. The gala evening is undoubtedly the highlight for most, but it is in the speakers and community building where the real magic lies.

The warmth of the global TC community envelopes you at Conference. They celebrated the many ways the community supported each other during the past three years, and there often wasn't a dry eye in the room. These were real stories shared with grace and humility. Even though the TCs are all individual business owners, they celebrate the successes of others. With Passion! They support each other and frequently work in teams, sharing the workload and the profit.

There were incredible speakers at Conference 2022 sharing their stories of perseverance and grit, thriving despite the odds, building successful careers, and learning from failures and losses. The speakers from the TC leadership team wore their hearts on their sleeves. Steve Byrne, our CEO, received a standing ovation (more than once), and it's not difficult to understand why. He motivates and inspires the people in this organisation with his authenticity and exemplary leadership.
