We are currently expanding at a phenomenal rate – on the back of what is our record year in terms of revenue (over £930m) - and so are looking for outstanding individuals to join our dedicated Head Office team, to help the company continue to flourish.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing team in Manchester, UK. Working as part of our dynamic technology function, you will directly contribute to an award winning digital platform that supports over 2000 entrepreneurial travel businesses. You will contribute to end-to-end system design and development, be a key part of helping us grow, develop and expand on our existing systems and support our platform modernisation and cloud migration journey.
Principal Accountabilities
- To be part of a high performing team delivering scalable, resilient, customer centric systems the make up our Personal Digital Platform
- To work with scrum team to develop delivery schedules for projects
- To work with business analysts, business owners and testers
- To collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver features from inception and throughout the lifecycle
- To help drive a high-performing engineering culture
- To keep up to date with the latest technologies and contribute to the definition of engineering and technology strategy
- To work with the team to continually improve practices and processes
Key Requirements
- 3+ years in a similar role, demonstrating strong progression and an aptitude to learn and develop
- Experience working with .NET core and Node.js
- Degree preferred from leading university – Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths or other numerate subjects or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in Travel not necessary
