Lynne's 1st Year in Review

Lynne told us when she started her travel franchise, that it was her greatest ambition in life, to work in the travel industry that she loved so much! Plus, she wanted to also be able to travel the world! Becoming a Travel Counsellor has been a perfect match for Lynne.

1-Year later, we caught up with Lynne to see how her first year had gone. "Despite the Pandemic, I pursued my passion and dreams and I am proud of what I have achieved in my business over the past year. I have completed the training that Travel Counsellors has offered me, and this has helped me to lay some great business foundations. I am seeing some nice bookings come through and it is wonderful seeing more and more countries open up to South African travellers once again. I have received rave reviews from my customers who have loved the service that I have been able to provide." Said Lynne.

During this past year, I have been able to travel while servicing my customers. I had a Travel Counsellors buddy back home in South Africa ready to assist my customers. Each day I decided when I wanted to work and then my TC buddy took care of the rest.

Over the past year, I have taken 3 incredible trips Last year I celebrated a special birthday, and I decided to celebrate in Cape Town and in the bush. I got to meet some local Cape Town TC's and spent some time exploring the city before I jetted off to a game lodge.

Since then I have also travelled with a friend to Vic Falls, this was an incredible trip. Whilst on the trip I got to explore and book some customers too.

I have just returned from a dream trip to a quaint village of Tremolat in the Dordogne region of France! I fell in love with this town. This was an experience of a lifetime and was so good for the soul. After all that we have gone through during this pandemic, it was so soothing to be able to travel and to still be away from crowds of people. The best part was that I could take my laptop with me and to be able to look after my amazing clients so that they know – “With us it’s personal” and that they can get to go on holiday with me.
