Moving forward in 2021

2020 has been an undeniably tough year. At Travel Counsellors we’re proud of our people-first culture, and as always, we’re here to support our community through thick and thin.

Community has always been so important to the success of Travel Counsellors, and we’re no strangers to the concept of pulling together when the time is right.

"To say that this time has been difficult would be an understatement, but our goal must be more than just surviving, but re-building something even better” – Travel Counsellors CEO, Steve Byrne.

When faced with adversity, it can be difficult to know where to go next. At Travel Counsellors we put people at the heart of everything we do. So, we’ve put together some tips to help you build resilience.

Five Tips to help you build resilience

1) You First

In the face of challenging circumstances, try to look after your wellbeing.

2) Community Matters

Sometimes sharing your experiences with people who have been through something similar can help.

3) Stay Healthy

Getting enough sleep, going for regular walks, and eating healthily can help reduce stress.

4) Develop a Vision

Travel to stay proactive. Staying in control and making plans will keep you grounded.

5) You can do it!

Remind yourself of what you can do and not what you can’t. Believe in yourself, Now go for it
