Today (21 August) right across the globe we celebrate innovation, leadership and empowerment of entrepreneurs. It is on this day that we honour all our Travel Counsellors.

Sunday the 9th of August is Women’s Day. This Women's Day we celebrate all our women franchisees and all that they have achieved.

One of the biggest deterrents for starting a business is fear of failure. Many travel agents find themselves retrenched, or on a reduced salary with an uncertain future. Now could be the perfect time for them to follow their dream.

Candice is optimistic that the comeback in travel will be great. I know so many people who can’t wait to travel as soon as we are allowed. Starting my own business amid this pandemic seemed to be the right time for me.

3 travel agents have completed a 2-week induction training programme online. Today, 17 July 2020 marks their start date of becoming travel business owners. They are franchisees of Travel Counsellors.

I knew I didn’t want to go back to what I had always done before. I had often considered starting my own travel business. And so I made the decision that there was no better time than now, to launch my own travel business.

A leisure to corporate training course was held for all TCS to upskill to get a slice of the corporate pie. The expectations & need from corporate companies will change due to Covid-19 and our TCs need to stay ahead.

Our new Travel Counsellors graduated from their 2-week induction online. They were later enrolled to start a 10-week new Starter Programme. This bridges the gap from induction and helps them build solid foundations.
