Earlier this week, we hosted our two-day Touring Takeover Event at the beautiful Clermont Hotel in Charing Cross, London - and what an incredible two days it was!
Over 40 Travel Counsellors from across the UK came together to deepen their expertise in the ever-growing world of adventure and touring travel. With industry demand for experiential travel booming, this event was designed to give our Travel Counsellors a competitive edge - helping them match the right customers with the right suppliers, and ultimately, grow their business with confidence.
Day One: Supplier Speed Dating & Sunset Celebrations The event kicked off with dynamic “speed dating” sessions, where Travel Counsellors met face-to-face with a wide range of touring suppliers to learn about products, ask questions and build relationships. The day wrapped up with a memorable evening on the London Eye - complete with champagne, canapés and plenty of sunshine.
Day Two: Product Insights & Practical Workshops The next day featured engaging presentations from suppliers followed by a hands-on workshop, where Travel Counsellors worked in teams with suppliers to match adventure and touring products to customer profiles - helping them translate their new knowledge into real-world selling confidence.
As Travel Counsellor Daragh Hanafin put it: “I’ve come away from it all feeling revitalised. My head is full of ideas and thoughts of things I want to do - all with the intention of growing myself and my business.”
