Supporting the wellbeing of our franchisees

Here at Travel Counsellors, care always has been, and always will be, at the heart of everything we do. Your wellbeing is our genuine concern and priority. We understand that running your own business can be both rewarding and challenging, which is why we have a comprehensive support system to help you navigate the ups and downs of being a franchisee.

To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re exploring some of the initiatives we offer all our franchisees to keep them healthy, happy, and performing at their best.

Access to a personal counsellor

Life can throw curveballs, and sometimes you may need someone to talk to. That's why we provide all our franchisees with access to a personal counsellor. Whether you're struggling with stress, anxiety, or just need a listening ear, our qualified counsellor is here to support you. They can provide confidential advice and guidance to help you work through any challenges you may be facing, both personally and professionally.

Virtual coffee mornings

Running your own business can be isolating at times, which is why we host regular virtual coffee mornings. These informal gatherings provide an opportunity for you to connect with other franchisees, share experiences, and offer support to one another. It's a chance to take a break from work, enjoy a cuppa, and remind yourself that you're part of a wider community.

Support from Relationship Managers

Every Travel Counsellor is assigned a dedicated Relationship Manager who is there to support you every step of the way. Your Relationship Manager will regularly check in with you to see how you're doing, offer guidance and advice, and help you set and achieve your business goals. They are your go-to person for all things Travel Counsellors, and they are deeply invested in your success and wellbeing.

Opportunities to get together in-person

We regularly host events to bring our franchise community together. From our annual conference to roadshows, training events and even family days that you can bring your loved ones along to, there are plenty of opportunities to meet fellow franchisees and form those life-long friendships.

Incentives to keep you motivated

A bit of healthy competition can help keep you focused on those days where you feel like you’re having a bit of a lull – that’s why we run monthly incentives with some once-in-lifetime trips and superb prizes up for grabs. With most of our incentives, the only person you’re in competition with is yourself – so they’re a great to keep your spirits and motivation levels high!
