Travel Counsellors sees spectacular peaks sales success

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve started the year on a high, achieving record-breaking success so far during the January peaks season.

Soaring sales success

We saw our best sales day of 2025 (and the second-highest sales day in our 30-year history) on Friday 17th January - generating £6.9 million in sales.

Notably, up to the end of last week, there are now eight record sales days in 2025 that are in the top 25 of all-time - with all of them exceeding £5m in sales in a day, and four days reaching over £6m. The past records continue to tumble, with five of those days ranking in the top 10 highest sales days we’ve ever recorded.

On each of these milestone days, Travel Counsellors crafted on average more than 1,700 individual bookings. A further 177 Travel Counsellors globally have achieved total sales of over £100,000 in January so far, with sales momentum continuing to accelerate throughout the month.

Empowering our business owners to craft bespoke itineraries for trending destinations

Our sales success is powered by our unique business model and our in-house booking platform, Phenix, which empowers business owners to create highly personalised and bespoke travel experiences to include accommodation, flights, excursions, and other products. In fact, over the last week, Phenix data revealed a surge in trending destination searches, with Japan up 117% YoY, Argentina up 74% YoY, and Morocco which saw an increase of 55% YoY.

Meanwhile, the top five most-booked destinations and travel types include the USA, Spain, Cruise holidays, Greece and Dubai. There have also been many significant bookings to the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.

I’ve already achieved more than the same time last year, and it just keeps building as I recently experienced my busiest day since starting my business. It’s amazing to see how much demand there is for bespoke, personalised travel experiences. Driving momentum and motivation with our TC World Cup Global Incentive Programme

To supercharge our peaks success, we’re running our TC World Cup Global Incentive throughout January, which sees our business owners compete in teams to score goals based on various sales and performance metrics.

The teams are guided by dedicated TC Team Captains and Vice Captains, tasked with motivating and galvanising their teams to success, including some new leaders from the colleague community taking on leadership roles for the first time.

The winning team at the end of the month will secure a coveted spot on an exclusive FAM trip to Orlando. The prize includes a number of places, with flights, a four-night stay at the brand-new Universal Luna Resort and VIP access to Universal Studios Theme Park.
