Travel Counsellors teams up with Virgin Voyages to stage drop-in day and support Peaks momentum

We recently welcomed Virgin Voyages to our central hub in Manchester to stage a ‘drop-in day’ to remember.

The jam-packed one-day event saw up to thirty of our business owners and support team colleagues take a deep dive into everything Virgin Voyages has to offer, including exclusive sales promotions that franchisees could pass onto their customers. So far, the day has resulted in our business owners making 28 Virgin Voyages bookings for 61 passengers!

The theme of the day was “Bring on Barcelona”. Alongside a spread of Spanish-themed food and drink served throughout the day, Travel Counsellors enjoyed a virtual tour through Virgin Voyages’ bespoke booking platform, formed a live audience for a dedicated “TSeaTV” special in our in-house TV studio, and disembarked the day having boosted their knowledge to support their cruise bookings and grow their individual businesses.

Hosting the day as a “drop-in” opportunity also enabled our business owners to soak in all the latest Virgin Voyages information while continuing to be there for their customers at such a busy time of the year over peaks.”

Cruise bookings at Travel Counsellors have seen a particular upsurge in recent weeks, with franchisees making 37% more ocean and river cruise bookings than this time last year.

The Virgin Voyages drop-in day kicks off a busy annual schedule of events hosted at our support team centre in Manchester, and across the UK, with up to thirty takeover days supported by supplier partners in the diary.
