We did it again – Travel Counsellors banks another record-breaking January!

The numbers are in and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve just had the best January and best ever sales month in Travel Counsellors’ 30-year history. Our sales for the month hit £125 million (that’s up 12% from 2023 and up 68% on pre-pandemic levels!), and we also celebrated our biggest ever sales day, with an incredible £7.5 million of travel sold in just 24 hours.

The numbers are impressive, but behind every booking is a franchisee who is making their dreams a reality and achieving their own goals - whether personal or financial. In fact, 414 Travel Counsellors just celebrated their best ever month, with 110 TCs achieving total sales of over £200,000.

CEO Steve Byrne spoke about what this means for our community: "We are delighted with these figures, which are thanks to the dedication and hard work of our community of Travel Counsellors, support team colleagues and valued supplier partners who have worked tirelessly as one team to care for each other and our customers. It goes beyond a booking though, our TCs provide a level of care and personal service that not only leads to great sales but also cements lasting, trusted relationships with their customers and clients.

Travel Counsellors’ unique model and in-house booking platform Phenix, enables business owners to pull together every component needed to tailor make a booking to have more control over each and every booking made - in fact, £47 million of our sales in January were for bespoke TC packages, with 56.7% of Travel Counsellors opting to work in TC Teams on the platform over the month to drive peaks sales.
