About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a challenging agenda to deliver marketing activity to drive the recruitment of new Travel Counsellor franchisees, and marketing requirements and lead generation for the corporate travel division, ‘Travel Counsellors for Business’. Providing a broader range of marketing support to these two strategically important areas of the business, you will be expected to work across performance marketing, content marketing and CRM/email marketing to deploy campaigns and measure ROI.
The role will suit an ambitious individual with several years’ of marketing experience who is looking for an opportunity to make an impact and further their career by driving business growth.
Principal Accountabilities
Working with the wider Marketing team, Franchise Recruitment and Corporate teams, the Growth Marketing Executive will:
- Liaise with our digital marketing agency to ensure campaigns are optimised to support the achievement of lead gen targets.
- Support the Growth Marketing Manager as required to deliver leads, conversion and KPIs.
- Write content, build, test and optimise regular nurture journeys and emails for our existing database using Freshworks CRM.
- Write content, create, test and optimise landing pages.
- Support event management for franchise recruitment and corporate, including briefing stand concepts, designs and assets and promotion of the events to achieve registration targets.
- Produce clear and detailed briefs for the design team or agency partners to create assets e.g. press adverts, header images, social media pins, infographics.
- Contribute to the content calendar, and produce compelling content to support key messages for franchise recruitment and corporate teams via blogs, case studies, brochures, leaflets, emails and webinars. Activity should be amplified on social media channels and the impact measured to demonstrate how we turn visits to enquiries, and go beyond measuring engagement.
- Add content to the website and update regularly using Contentful & Umbraco CMS.
- Plan, write and schedule posts for recruitment and corporate travel social media channels – including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
- Share knowledge, best practice, content and assets with our global marketing teams. This should include updating BrandHub with assets every month.
- Manage and track campaign effectiveness using a variety of digital tools including Google Analytics and Freshworks.
- Ongoing reporting and analysis of campaigns to demonstrate and measure the impact of our activity against the business KPIs.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Degree educated, ideally in a business or marketing-related subject, or with marketing qualification e.g. CIM, IDM
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing role
- Hands-on experience of website CMS
- Hands-on experience with CRM/email marketing tools
- HTML, video editing or Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous, although not essential.
