About the Role
You will be a senior specialist responsible for the strategy and performance of the Corporate digital product, platform, and experience. Your focus will be on developing, enhancing, and managing the overall user experience and satisfaction across the Corporate digital journey. With a strong background in product management and knowledge of the UK business travel sector, you will apply strategic thinking and a deep understanding of digital trends, user behaviour, and technology to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Additionally, you will support the Director of Digital Products in the continuous improvement and development of the Digital Product function, with line management responsibilities for your supporting Product team colleagues.
Principal Accountabilities
- Product Management: You will build and define the Product Vision and Strategy, lead the Product Development lifecycle, develop a digital business strategy with measurable benefits, conduct market research, identify customer needs, and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement. You will also spend time understanding the wider market and proactively seek initiatives for innovation and product enhancements.
- Stakeholder Management: You will collaborate with Business Owners, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met and fostering strong relationships to support long-term product goals. You will be recognized as the senior product specialist responsible for the successful outcomes of the Corporate digital experience and products. Additionally, you will establish and maintain a feedback loop with users and stakeholders to continuously refine and improve the product.
- Line Management and Development: You will manage and develop the (UK) Business Analysts, while also developing your own personal and people leadership skills using the support available in the business.
- Senior Product Leadership: You will support the Director of Digital Products as a senior leader within the product team, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the team evolves to deliver high-value outcomes. You will represent the product team within the business and externally, ensuring its profile is recognized and valued by all stakeholders.
- Domain-specific Expertise: You will leverage your TMC background to provide the best possible user experience, gather and analyse feedback to identify areas for improvement, monitor KPIs related to customer experience, stay updated with industry trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure our digital products are accessible and provide a seamless, intuitive experience.
Skills and Experience Required
Education:- Bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Or certifications in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Agile methodologies are advantageous
Professional Experience:
- Substantial experience in product management, business analysis, or related roles within technology-driven industries.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering products or projects in collaboration with cross-functional team
- Ideally minimum of 3 years' experience working in or adjacent to (UK) Travel Management (Business travel / TMC) sector
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating business requirements into actionable product features.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to convey product vision and priorities effectively.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams towards achieving product goals, in addition to the line management of the Business Analyst role
- A solid understanding of the industry, market trends, and customer needs
