“Attending a Discovery Day changed my life” - James’ story

I’m James Weir, and I joined Travel Counsellors in February 2024. When I look back at the journey that led me to becoming a Travel Counsellor, one moment stands out: attending a Travel Counsellors' Discovery Day.

I remember walking into that session filled with questions, excitement, and a little apprehension.

What I found was a warm, inspiring environment that not only answered my questions but helped me truly picture myself running my own successful travel business. Hearing from existing Travel Counsellors, learning about the technology and support available, and connecting with like-minded people was the turning point.

That day gave me the confidence to take the leap, and I haven’t looked back since.

If you’re thinking about starting your own travel business, I can’t recommend a Discovery Day enough. It’s an opportunity to:

  • Get behind the scenes insight into how Travel Counsellors works
  • Ask the questions that matter most to you
  • Hear honest stories from people like me who’ve been in your shoes
  • Imagine what your future in travel could look like

That’s why I’m so excited to invite you to a very special Discovery Day at Travel Counsellors Annual Conference in Liverpool on Saturday 8th November - co-hosted by none other than Travel Counsellors' Growth and Entrepreneurship Partner, Sara Davies.

Not only will you gain all the insights a Discovery Day has to offer, but you’ll also experience the incredible buzz of our flagship event. It really is a true celebration of everything that makes our community so special.

If you’re ready to explore what life could look like as a travel entrepreneur who’s backed by a billion-pound business, I’d really encourage you to join us. Spaces are limited and filling fast, so don’t delay in securing your spot here.

Attending a Discovery Day changed the direction of my career, and my life - and it could do the same for you.

I hope to see you in Liverpool!
