Budding travel entrepreneurs join us at our Annual Conference

On Saturday 25th November, a group of budding business owners attended a very special Discovery Day as part of our annual Conference at Manchester Central.

It was a fantastic opportunity for them to experience our flagship event, meet existing Travel Counsellors, and learn more about what we can offer as a business opportunity.

The day started with a warm welcome and a brief overview of our history and accolades, led by our New Franchise team.

Our delegates were treated to some inspirational conference sessions with our guest speakers in the main auditorium.

The first session was led by Elite Sports Business Mentor and former Managing Director of Metro Bank, Chris Brindley MBE. Chris spoke about the importance of culture and values when it comes to running a business.

Next up were the hosts of the High Performance Podcast, Jake Humphrey and Damian Hughes. Jake and Damian were joined onstage by some of our successful franchisees for an insightful discussion about mindset and achieving potential.

After a quick pit-stop for lunch, our CEO, Steve Byrne, met with the group to introduce himself and tell them more about the benefits of joining our caring and inclusive community.

For the rest of the afternoon, support colleagues from our various departments joined the Discovery Day to explain all the wraparound support that our business owners can tap into – from help with becoming social media savvy, to business coaching so that franchisees can unleash their potential and achieve their goals.

Our Discovery Day guests also had the chance to meet some of our existing Travel Counsellors, Kat Malyshenko and her mentor Hannah Ramrachia, as well as Mahul Patel. They shared their experience and were on hand to answer any questions about being a franchisee.

It’s the perfect way to meet and mingle with some of our amazing business owners, hear from our support colleagues, and see some of the inspirational guest speakers take to the stage as part of our main conference sessions. It’s also an opportunity for the New Franchise team to get to know our candidates even better and strengthen relationships as we guide and support them through the recruitment process. Demand for this year’s Conference Discovery Day was very high, and we’re looking forward to following up with our attendees. We hope to be welcoming them into our community very soon.”
