Get a sneak peek into our June double Gold Weekend celebrations
It's been a busy few weeks here at Travel Counsellors, as almost 70 of our high-achieving businesses owners jetted off on two incredible Gold weekends – including our very first one at sea!
Caribbean cruising
The month kicked off with 35 of our Gold Travel Counsellors setting sail on the Celebrity Reflection around the Caribbean, with a luxurious pre-cruise stay at Miami’s Diplomat Beach Resort – offering spectacular, sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The following morning, it was all aboard the Celebrity Reflection, and the start of our first-ever Gold celebrations at sea! The trip got off to a relaxing start, with our business owners having plenty of free time to enjoy the ship’s amazing amenities while guests embarked. As they sailed away into the sunset, it was time to enjoy welcome drinks at wine bar, Cellar Masters, before a special dinner at a privatised area within the main dining room.
The following morning the ship docked at its first port, Key West. The morning started with a scenic walk, followed by free time to sample the local conch fritters, learn about the city’s heritage in one of the museums, indulge in a spot of retail therapy, or chill out on the beach.
Back on board, and with another sea day ahead, the evening was rounded off with a playful and immersive dining experience at Le Petit Chef – where delightful animations meet delicious cuisine.
The final port was Perfect Day at Coco Cay – a private island with crystal-clear waters, soft, sandy beaches, and plenty of waterslides and activities to keep the adrenaline pumping.
That evening, our Gold Travel Counsellors savoured a celebration dinner at the ship’s Tuscan Grille, offering bold Italian flavours and the finest wines to toast a very special Gold Weekend.
Beachfront bliss in Barbados
As our first Gold Weekenders returned, our second group of Gold Travel Counsellors were Barbados-bound for a very special four-night stay at the Fairmont Royal Pavillion in St. James.
Guests were welcomed with a sunset welcome party, where they sipped on cocktails and dined on traditional Bajan cuisine to the soundtrack of a steel band.
The next day was our Gold Conference over at the nearby Sandy Lane hotel, where guest got the lowdown on the latest updates from our support colleagues. After an optional site visit and lunch, it was time to head back to the Fairmont for a leisurely afternoon.
That evening, guests were whisked to the QP Bistro for a clifftop dining experience offering dramatic ocean views.
The following day, a relaxing catamaran trip was on the agenda, followed by an optional trip to Oistins come nightfall. One of Barbados’ most iconic hotspots, Oistins Friday Fish Fry brings together the freshest seafood, sizzling grills, and a true party atmosphere.
Our final day saw our Travel Counsellors head to Apes Hill, a stunning golf resort and community, where there was a series of group activities for our business owners to enjoy. From putting and padel to nature walks and ‘paint and sip’, it was a chance to unwind and build relationships with each other.
As the trip came to an end, we got together one last time for a magical, three-course celebration dinner at the Palm Terrace, nestled within the Fairmont Pavillion. The sumptuous meal was followed by live entertainment and dancing, marking the perfect end to our June Gold Weekends.
