Our Travel Tracker Report shows travel is the number one spending priority for Brits

We recently surveyed 2,000 Brits to get an insight into their appetite for travel. 45% said holidays were their number one spending priority over the next 12 months – ahead of home renovations, dining out, and buying new clothes.

Our Travel Tracker Report also found that no corners are cut in the search for the perfect holiday experience, with as many as 81% exceeding their planned budget while on holiday. When it comes to looking after the planet, holidaymakers are prepared to pay even more. 52% of 16-24-year-olds said they would be willing to up their budget for a more sustainable trip.

75% of Brits surveyed also said that they are planning an overseas trip in the next six months – with the USA and Australia topping the 2024 destination hotlist.

This rises to over half (53%) for those with a joint household income over £75,000.
