Travel Counsellors cruise into new opportunities at Set Sail takeover day

On Tuesday 11th February, over 20 Travel Counsellors joined us at our Venus head office for a special ‘Set Sail’ takeover day – which was specially hosted for business owners who are new to selling cruise.

It was an opportunity for our Travel Counsellors to meet face-to-face with some of our valued cruise supplier partners from the worlds of both ocean and river cruising to learn more about the ships, itineraries, and what each brand can offer customers.

Joining us on the day were our friends at Riviera, Virgin Voyages, Fred Olsen, Royal Caribbean, Princess, P&O, Celebrity, Ambassador, and Scenic and Emerald.

All Travel Counsellors in attendance are part of our wider ‘Set Sail’ training programme, designed to give them the tools, knowledge, and support they need to become more confident in selling cruise – allowing them to provide an even better service to customers who come to them with cruise enquiries.

The cohort are supported by our Cruise Ambassadors – cruise experts within our community who are there to help those new to selling cruise upskill.
